The week I fixed 9 cars at the same hotel and finally felt like I knew what I was doing
Back when I started in this trade, a good week meant I got through my route without getting stuck. Last month at the Riverside Hotel in Cleveland, I swapped a bad door operator on car 2 and tracked down a loose roller guide on car 4 that had been shaking for who knows how long. Nine service calls in five days, all closed out by Friday, and the building manager actually shook my hand. Makes me wonder how the old timers did it with no laptops and half the paperwork.
