Dropped $40 on a phone call recorder app and it got me paid in 3 days
Had a guy owe me $2,300 since March for a website rebuild, and he kept saying the scope changed even though I had his approval email. I got tired of arguing so I spent about $40 on a call recorder app before our next check-in call. He said on tape, clear as day, that the site was exactly what he asked for and he just had a cash flow issue. Sent that clip to his bookkeeper and the money hit my account 3 days later. Has anyone else recorded calls like this, and did you tell them upfront or just keep it in your back pocket?
