Spent $300 on a skip tracing service after a guy in Phoenix ghosted me on a $1,200 invoice
The invoice sat unpaid for 8 weeks, phone went straight to voicemail, and his email bounced back. So I paid $300 to a little web service that digs up current home addresses and employer info. Two days later I had his new work address, mailed a demand letter there, and the money hit my account in 6 days. Now I can't decide if that was the best $300 I ever spent or just a band aid for a bigger problem with how I pick clients. Has anyone else used one of these services, and did it actually work or am I just lucky?
