Spent $75 on a payment reminder app and it backfired hard
I bought this automated dunning tool after a client ghosted me on a $2,100 invoice, thinking it would save my follow-up time... but the app sent a nasty legal-threat template to someone who was just on vacation for 2 weeks. That client paid immediately but then left a 1-star review calling me a scammer, which killed two bigger leads I had lined up. Anyone else been burned by paying for software that made a slow payer worse instead of better?
