That accounting blog post about late payers being 'strategic' rubbed me wrong
I read some article last week from a business coach in Phoenix saying slow payers are usually just organized, not malicious, and we should see it as a cash flow puzzle on their end. Maybe it's just me, but when a $2,400 invoice sits at 45 days past due and the guy is posting vacation photos in Sedona, that's not strategy, that's a choice. I get that some folks juggle vendors, but there's a difference between a legit delay and using freelancer money as an interest-free loan. Has anyone else pushed back on this narrative, or am I just being too harsh here?

Seeing those vacation pics while your invoice collects dust is the part that gets me. It's not that they can't pay, it's that they've decided your bill sits at the bottom of the pile behind the fun stuff. And that coach's whole "cash flow puzzle" thing just gives them a nicer name for it.
