The library meeting room trick I stumbled on in Spokane
I had a client ghost me after a big website project last month, no reply to three invoices. Out of desperation I booked a free meeting room at the downtown Spokane library and sent them a calendar invite saying the final files were ready for pickup in person. They actually showed up. Something about having to walk in and face me (or the librarian at the front desk) made them suddenly produce a check on the spot. It felt weird and a little pushy, but it worked. Now I keep that as a backup for anyone who ignores email for over two weeks. Has anyone else tried a face-to-face trick like this, or is that crossing a line for you?

That's equal parts genius and terrifying. The library setting is what makes it work, public space means they can't make a scene. Fair warning though, that bridge is burned once you pull it. But honestly, if they owe you money and ghost you, they already lit the match. You just added a fire extinguisher. Gotta respect the hustle.

So what happens if they show up with backup anyway?
