Baking soda scrub fixed my extraction issues overnight
I kept having trouble getting grits out clean on oily skin types. Tried all the pre-treatment stuff, enzymes, salicylic acid, nothing worked great. Then a lady in Phoenix told me to mix baking soda with my cleanser and use it as a scrub before extractions. Did it on three clients yesterday and stuff just popped out way easier. Anyone else do this or got a better method?

Huh, was the baking soda too harsh on anyone's skin?

Baking soda wrecked my face. Stick to gentle scrubs.

Oh, have you ever tried using baking soda in a face mask and then accidentally mixed it with lemon juice? I did that once and felt like my face was on fire for a solid ten minutes. Not my best moment, honestly. I mean, some people swear by it for exfoliating, but idk, it seemed to strip my skin way too much. Maybe it's just me, but I think it's better for scrubbing sinks than faces.
