Bought a $40 facial steamer off Amazon and it barely lasted 3 months

The heating element gave out on a Tuesday morning right before a client was coming in. Had to switch to my backup bowl of hot water and towels. Anyone else had luck with a specific brand that actually holds up?

Different take here, but I've actually had decent luck with the cheaper ones if you baby them a bit. That bowl of hot water method is rough though, been there and it's never the same.

Read somewhere that some restaurants just hire people off the street to wash dishes with no training... sounds like a nightmare waiting to happen.

Bet the dishes would still be cleaner than my first attempt at cooking pasta.
