Can we talk about people using face oils before every single treatment?

Had a client show up last Wednesday with a full layer of argan oil on her skin and then got mad when her chemical peel barely lifted anything, like how is that my fault?

People act like oil is just water and it'll magically disappear the second the esthetician touches them. Slathering on a protective layer right before a chemical peel is basically asking for a refund. Guess they thought the peel was just there to make their face smell nice.

Four times I've watched someone show up with a full face of Sunday Riley oil and then get mad when their peel didn't take. That stuff is like saran wrap on your skin. They paid $150 for a fancy facial mist basically. The esthetician should just hand them a mirror and say "look how shiny you still are.
