Egg on my face trying that microcurrent device from 2018 on a client last Thursday

I was in my Baltimore suite, the client had just told me she wanted a non-invasive lift, I pulled out that old NuFACE Trinity I hadn't touched in years, and the gel dried up mid-glide leaving this sticky mess of a breakout that took me 20 minutes to calm down with a cold compress.

egg on my face" is honestly perfect cause you got egg all over your face literally with that breakout. I'm gonna push back here though. I've been using the same NuFACE since 2017 and it still works great. The trick is you gotta prep the skin right before you even turn that thing on. If the gel dried out on you, that means you either stored it wrong or you're using too little product. I keep my extra gel in the fridge and it stays wet way longer. And honestly that microcurrent tech hasn't really changed much since then so calling it old is kinda missing the point. The lift comes from consistent use not from having a new model. Maybe give it another shot with fresh gel and see if it works better.

Your fridge trick is smart, I never thought of that. I think the gel drying out is really the killer with these things, happens every time. Maybe I'll cave and buy a fresh tube, see if the old one still holds a charge. Long as it doesn't make me look like I'm having a seizure on the bus I'll call it a win.

My NuFACE lasted about two years before the charge port gave out. Tried replacing the battery myself and ended up with a tiny screwdriver stuck in the wall. Now I just do facial exercises in the mirror, neighbors probably think I'm having a stroke.
