Just realized facial massage actually does something
I always thought facial massage was just a relaxation add-on, not real treatment. Then last month I tried it on a client with persistent sinus puffiness and the drainage was insane, she looked completely different after 15 minutes. Any other estheticians here skip it in their routines?

and then you see those before and after posts and it's like wait that actually works. i was talking to @caseywalker about this the other day because she swears by those little gua sha tools and i never bothered until my own face held onto water after a flight last week. i did like five minutes of pressure points and my jawline looked normal again by lunch. it's wild how just moving the fluid can change the whole shape of your face. i still skip it more than i should but now at least i know it's not all just hype.

My friend Jenna had this huge event to go to and she woke up with a face like a balloon from salty dinner the night before. She did a quick five minute facial massage in her car before she went in and @angela728 you're so right it's just moving stuff around. By the time she got to the event her jawline was back and everyone asked if she got filler or something. She said the puffiest part was right under her eyes and that went down the most. It really does change the whole shape of your face that quick.

Right caseywalker it's literally just moving stuff around in there lol. I started doing it more after a bad flight too and it's crazy how much definition you can get back in like ten minutes.
