PSA: Switched to more veggies, my acne faded

My skin was patchy and irritated. Added more carrots and spinach to meals. Cleared up pretty quick. Do you estheticians ever suggest food changes? What simple swaps help most?

Yeah, the carrot and spinach thing really did it for me too. I started adding a big handful of spinach to my morning smoothie and my skin got way less red. It's a super easy swap that made a real difference.

Ever feel like you're just throwing random fixes at your skin and hoping one sticks? I tried cutting sugar for a month, nothing. Switched to a fancy face wash, still broke out. Then I had a crazy busy week eating nothing but junk and my skin cleared up. Makes you wonder if half of it is just luck, right?

Hold up, that's some wild luck. My cousin went full rabbit food for months and her skin got worse, plus she was miserable. Stress and hormones wreck skin way more than a missing salad. I tried cutting dairy once and it did nothing except make coffee sad. Sometimes skin just fixes itself and we credit whatever we changed last.

I mean, that bit about skin fixing itself and us crediting the last change really hits home. Like, rayc94's spinach swap worked for them, but I've seen similar tries do nothing for others. Maybe it's just me, but bodies react in totally random ways sometimes.
