Stumbled across a stat that said 80% of clients don't tip on gift card services and it hit me why my holiday bookings felt off last December.
I was going over my year-end numbers from my little shop in Boise and noticed a big drop in take-home pay during the holidays, then a buddy in the business mentioned that stat from some industry survey and it clicked, has anyone else seen that pattern with gift card appointments?

@kelly_rivera depends on what you mean by big deal. Have you actually looked into how it affects people long term?

Long term effects are pretty well documented at this point, @kelly_rivera... it's not just a minor inconvenience for people. Studies have shown it can mess with sleep patterns and mental health way more than most realize. Definitely worth reading up on if you haven't yet.
