Swore by glycolic peels for years till I tried lactic on a whim

I had a regular client in her 50s with really dry skin who kept complaining about flaking after her usual glycolic peel. Finally caved and used a 30% lactic acid peel from my supplier last month, and her skin looked amazing the next day without any irritation. It taught me that just because something is stronger doesn't mean it's better for everyone. Has anyone else switched acids and been surprised by the results?

Used to think lactic was only for babies. Kinda ate my words there. Totally changed how I recommend things now.

lol idk man, is it really that deep? @wade_anderson sounds like they went through some serious drama with their skincare routine. I mean yeah lactic works for some people but calling your face a passive aggressive diva is a bit much for a chemical exfoliant. it's just an acid, not a personality test.

Right, because nothing says "tough love" like slapping an acid on a face and hoping for the best. Turns out my face was just a passive-aggressive diva who preferred gentle hints over screaming chemical warfare. Took a few red, flaky nights to figure that one out.
