That one dermaplane client with cystic acne took me 3 sessions to figure out, not 1
I had a new guest come in about a month ago for a dermaplane and she had some deep bumps along her jawline that I did not clock at first. I treated her normally, gave her the standard aftercare, and she came back two weeks later with way more irritation and a few spots that looked angry. I spent almost 90 minutes that second visit going back through my notes, my product list, and even my room setup before it hit me that the exfoliation plus her new retinol was just too much at once. Has anyone else had a treatment plan blow up because of something the guest forgot to mention, and how do you screen for that without making people feel grilled?
