The 20-minute facial I botched because I forgot to patch test rosehip oil

I used a new serum on a regular client last Tuesday and she broke out in hives 15 minutes into the service, so now I patch test every product on my own arm for 48 hours before it ever touches a face, but how do you all handle clients who are in a rush and want products used right away?

Honestly, a 48 hour wait for every product sounds like overkill when most people just have normal skin.
