Took me 4 tries to get a hydrafacial extraction right on this one client

I had this client with really stubborn comedones around her chin and nose area, and no matter what I did the first three sessions they just wouldn't budge. Fourth time I finally slowed way down and used a smaller tip setting at a lower pressure, and it worked like a charm. Has anyone else had to adjust their whole approach for a specific skin type or condition?

Did you try a warm compress before the extraction to loosen things up first?

Totally. I've done the warm compress thing for years with my own cysts and it works like a charm if you time it right. I usually microwave a damp washcloth for like 15 seconds and hold it on there for a good 5-7 minutes before I even touch anything. The key is getting it warm enough to really soften the skin without burning yourself. Last time I had a nasty one on my jawline I did that plus a bit of tea tree oil after and it came out way cleaner than if I'd just gone in dry.
