Trying to get a stubborn extraction on a client's nose took me 45 minutes
This regular came in with what looked like a simple blackhead, but it was deep and the pore was tight. I tried steaming, manual pressure, and even a comedone extractor, but nothing worked until I used a warm compress for way longer than usual. What's your go-to method for those stubborn, deep-seated impurities that just won't budge?

Oh man, I feel your pain! I had this one on my chin that just WOULD NOT budge for like a week. I finally caved and did the warm compress thing plus a little bit of Vaseline to help the extractor slide over the skin without digging in. Left the compress on for a solid 12 minutes then used the loop tool with the smallest opening at just the right angle, and it popped out like a little pearl. The relief was insane - but I definitely had to take a break and ice it after because my skin was mad from all the poking.

That warm compress trick is key, right? I've found leaving it on for a full ten minutes, reapplying the heat a couple times, really softens things up. Sometimes following that with a gentle pinch using tissue over my fingers, not the tool directly, gets that deep stuff moving.

It's like when a simple jar lid just won't open no matter what you try!

Yeah, that jar lid feeling is the worst. @grace_kelly45, it reminds me of the time my car's gas cap was totally stuck after a cold snap. I ended up wrapping a rubber band around it for a better grip and had to lean my whole weight into it.
