Vent: My 11am facial no-showed on a rainy Tuesday in Buffalo and I'm starting to question deposit policies
Last Tuesday in Buffalo I had three no-shows in one rainy day, and the salon owner told me to just eat the lost time since deposits would 'scare off the regulars' at $85 a facial. Part of me agrees since I've had folks leave over an extra $10, but another part thinks if someone can't commit $20 to hold a 60 minute slot they were never going to show anyway. Where do you all land on this, do deposits actually keep the flakes away or just punish the good ones?
