Disagree tbh. Sometimes you gotta just get the shoe on quick and the exact angle doesn't matter that much.

Used to just hammer them in straight and hope for the best. Then my farrier showed me how a bad angle on a front shoe made my gelding's stride shorter. Yeah, winging it was my go-to for a while. I found that taking five minutes to list out steps made a huge difference. Like for cooking, I'd write down ingredients and timing before starting. It saved me from so many last-minute scrambles.
