Spent $120 on a shoeing apron that fell apart in 3 months
I bought this heavy leather apron from a catalog last spring thinking it would last years. After maybe 60 horses the stitching started coming loose on the pocket where I keep my nails. By month three the whole bottom hem was frayed and the rivets popped. Anyone else have bad luck with those fancy aprons or is it just me?

Man that stinks. Really disappointing for that price.

Really disappointing for that price" is exactly how I felt. I actually bought the same thing last month and had it fall apart in less than two weeks. When I tried to return it they gave me a hard time about the warranty and basically told me tough luck. For what they charge you'd think they'd at least stand behind it better. Did you end up trying to get a refund or just take the loss?

Feels like this is just how things are going now with a lot of brands. They charge premium prices but cut corners on quality and then hide behind fine print when stuff breaks. Between kid stuff and everyday things around the house, I've noticed that pattern more and more lately. Hard to find companies that still treat you fair when something goes wrong.
