Cut a dress on the bias vs straight grain last month, and the bias one hangs so much better
I had 2 yards of this linen blend and only enough for one try, so I went bias cut like they did in the 30s. It drapes around the hips way nicer but the hem stretched a good inch overnight, so next time I'm letting it hang 2 days before I finish it. Anyone got a trick for keeping bias hems from growing?
