Dropped $180 on a dress form off Marketplace and it turned out to be a duct tape dummy shaped like someone else
Seller in Fresno swore it was a real adjustable form, but the shoulders were permanently slumped and the hips were lopsided, so every muslin I draped came out crooked. Has anyone actually gotten a decent form secondhand, or do I just eat the cost and buy new?

Honestly got burned the same way last year, drove an hour for a "professional dress form" that was literally a duct tape body with a pool noodle for a neck. Learned my lesson and just sucked it up and bought a new one on sale, way less stress than playing roulette on Marketplace.
