I finally fixed my draping issue after 3 weeks and it was just my dress form being crooked
Everyone online kept telling me my pattern needed more darts or a different muslin, so I kept redrafting and wasting fabric. Turns out my dress form was leaning about 2 inches to the left the entire time because the base was uneven on my studio floor. I felt so dumb after I put a level on it and saw the bubble off center. Took me 3 weeks of overthinking to check the one thing I never thought to check. Has anyone else blamed their pattern skills when it was really just a wobbly setup?
