My sketchbook went from 4 pages a week to almost none, and I figured out why
Back in March I was filling 4 pages a week with dress and jacket ideas, then by June it dropped to about one doodle every three days. I finally realized it was because I stopped carrying the little 5x7 book in my back pocket and started sketching only at my desk, where I just stare at Pinterest instead of drawing. Stuck the small book back in my jacket last Friday and I'm already at 9 pages this week. For people who design, does your sketch rate die the second you move away from a tiny notebook, and what size book actually works for you?
