Why does nobody talk about bread bag twists for quick fabric mock-ups?

I was closing a bread bag and the little wire twist caught my eye (weird, right). It hit me that I could use similar clips to pinch fabric for gathering tests instead of pins. Tried it on a skirt muslin and it held the shape perfectly while I adjusted. Saved me a ton of time and kept my fingers safe from pokes, which felt like a tiny victory.
