Found a way to save on closing costs by asking the wrong person
I was two weeks from closing on a condo in Austin when my realtor mentioned I could ask the seller to pay part of the closing costs. I tried it and they agreed to cover $2,500 worth of fees. Has anyone else had luck negotiating seller concessions on a tight budget?

Two weeks is basically forever in internet time. Once you miss that first window it gets awkward to double back. People move on, new posts flood in, and your question looks like you were sleeping on it. I'd say after 48 hours the ship has sailed unless you're following up on something super important.
