Just found out the seller pays for the title search if you ask in the offer, saved me $1,400 in Tucson
I had no clue who paid for what when I put in my first offer on a little 2 bed in Tucson back in April. My cousin who works at a credit union told me to just write into the offer that the seller covers the title search and a chunk of closing costs, and I figured the worst they could say was no. They said yes on the second counter, and at closing my total came out $1,400 less than what I had budgeted. It felt almost too easy, like I was missing something. Did anyone else get stuff moved over to the seller like this, or did I just get lucky with a tired seller?
