My real estate agent told me to waive the inspection contingency and I should have said no

I followed her advice on a house in Austin last summer to beat out other offers, and six months later I found out the foundation was cracked and now I'm stuck with a $15,000 repair bill - has anyone else had an agent push you into skipping something you regretted later?

Iris is right, they absolutely would have. @the_laura, you nailed it - that agent was a COMPLETE disaster waiting to happen.
