My realtor told me I was looking at too many houses and it finally clicked

I was about 30 showings in over 3 months and kept finding small things wrong with each one. My realtor finally said 'you're overthinking every house instead of picturing your life in it.' That hit me. So I stopped looking at crack in the foundation and started asking if I could see myself having coffee in the kitchen. Made an offer on the next place I saw in Fresno. Has anyone else had a realtor call them out like that?

Yeah, did she charge you by the hour or something? My realtor straight up told me I was wasting everyone's time after I pointed out a slightly crooked light switch on house number 12.

A crooked light switch on house number 12 does seem a little picky, but calling it a waste of time is pretty harsh. Most people are just trying to make sure they don't end up stuck with a bunch of small repairs after closing. Probably could have just said "we can note that" instead of making you feel bad about it.
