Noticed a huge shift in my gig ranking after I updated my gig video last April
I had this one gig on Fiverr that was stuck on page 4 for like 8 months. I changed the video to show me actually doing the work instead of just talking, and within 2 weeks I jumped to page 2. The algo seems to really push video content now, I swear. Has anyone else seen their rank jump after tweaking their gig media?

Wait, you're saying you watched the numbers change hourly after the update? @shane_wilson, that's wild. I didn't track it that close, just saw the ranking jump and figured it was the video, but now I'm wondering if I missed something.

Right after the algo update" is the part that gets me. I saw that too, but I'm wondering if you tracked the specific metrics that moved first. Was it impressions climbing fast or did you see click-through rates spike right away? Because I was watching mine hourly for the first two days and the impressions jumped almost instantly, but the conversion took like 4 more days to catch up. Did you notice a similar lag or was yours all at once?
