The moment I realized buyer requests were a total waste of time
I spent 6 months on Upwork applying to buyer requests every morning. Then I tracked my numbers and out of 150 proposals I got exactly 2 replies. Has anyone else found a better use for that hour each day?

My 47th proposal on Fiverr taught me something nobody talks about - the time of day you post matters way more than the proposal itself. Post at 2 AM their time and you're buried in 2 minutes.

Wait, you actually sent 150 proposals and only got 2 replies? That's brutal. Did you notice any pattern with the ones that got replies or was it basically random?

Yeah I used to think it was all about the proposal quality too... but Mila's comment about timing actually makes a lot of sense. I tried sending a few proposals late at night my time and they got buried so fast. The ones I sent at like 6 AM their time actually got seen and one even replied. Kinda changed how I look at the whole thing now.
