TIL my Fiverr profile photo was making buyers skip me for 8 months

I had the same goofy selfie with a cluttered bookshelf background since March. Last week I swapped it for a plain wall shot with decent lighting. Three new orders in 4 days. Nobody on Upwork seemed to care about my pic, but Fiverr buyers absolutely do. Anyone else notice platform-specific quirks like this?

Swapped mine to a bathroom selfie and got 5 orders. Fiverr just hates bookshelves apparently.
