Vent: my $40 'premium' gig ended up being a group project

I ordered a voiceover gig for $40 on Fiverr, thought I was getting a one person job. Then I got a file with three different voices and a note saying 'we hope you love our team effort.' The audio had one guy with a cold, another who clearly recorded in a bathroom, and the third was decent but spoke 20% slower than my script timing. I wasted a week re-editing it myself because asking for a fix felt like arguing with a call center. Has anyone else gotten a 'team' result from a cheap gig and just ate the loss to save sanity?

$40 for three voices is a steal, that's like getting a discount on a whole cast. You got a team effort for the price of a solo act, which means you saved like $100 on what that should've cost. Spending a week fixing it yourself just means you got exactly what you paid for, a budget product with budget problems.
