Bought a $340 magnetic chalk line for a 12-room job in Phoenix and it did nothing my $18 one couldn't do
Everyone on the crew told me the fancy one would pay for itself on long runs, but after two days of fighting a fatter spool and a magnet that kept grabbing my tape, I boxed it back up and finished the job with the cheap one I've had for 6 years, so tell me what I'm missing because I honestly think this whole category is a money pit.
