Glue down lvp failed on me after 6 months - what would you do?
I did a 1200 sq ft glue down LVP job in a basement back in February and now the edges are curling up along the seams in three different spots. I used Bostik Greenforce and followed the trowel notch size from the flooring guys. Would you try to heat and re-press those sections or cut them out and replace the planks?

Jumped in here because the same thing happened to me with Greenforce in my basement last year. It's frustrating, man, especially after all that work. I tried the heat and re-press trick on a couple of curled seams and it held for maybe a week then popped right back up. I think the adhesive just loses its grab when the slab moisture is off a bit, even if you think you prepped it right. Ended up cutting out the bad planks and replacing them with loose lay vinyl instead, which was a pain but solved the problem. I'd say skip the heat fix and go straight to replacement on those sections before the curl spreads.

knew a guy who tried the heat trick on his Greenforce floor and ended up with a plank that looked like a pringle chip after he left the heat gun on it too long. guess that's one way to add "character" to your basement. but yeah, the moisture thing is a real pain, my slab tested fine before install but apparently the air was damp enough to mess with it anyway. i swear these floors are more sensitive than my kid's skin in winter. cutting and replacing is the way to go though, even if it means a few more weekends of cussing at it.

Your heat trick failing makes sense though, moisture under slab is a different problem than adhesive quality.
