Moved from knee pads to a roll-around stool for hallways, total game changer for my knees
After 11 years of crawling down every corridor on my knees, I finally grabbed one of those mechanic stools with the little wheels. First hallway job in Austin last month, I just sat and rolled along the chalk line. No more aching patellas by 2pm. The only catch is keeping balance on uneven subfloors, so I still kneel for the tricky spots. Has anyone else switched to a stool for long runs? Does it work on tile glue jobs or just carpet?
