That one job where the subfloor had a literal lake under it
Last Tuesday we showed up to a house in Phoenix and pulled back the carpet to find about 2 inches of standing water under the entire living room, the slab was sweating that bad. We had to rent three pumps and run dehumidifiers for 2 days before we could even lay down the vapor barrier. Has anyone else dealt with moisture that bad, and did you end up charging extra for the demo time?

Had one in Tucson where we found a slab leak under the bathroom AND the living room. Ended up adding a line item for water extraction and called it "environmental recovery." Client grumbled but paid after we showed them the pump log.
