Warning: I hit 400 sanding discs in one apartment and the super asked if I was ok
Rented a floor edger for a 1,900 sq ft job in Norfolk last month and went through 400 discs in 6 days. The building super, a guy named Ray, knocked on the door on day 4 and asked if I was sanding the parking garage too. Turns out the previous guy had coated the oak with some old oil finish that just gummed up every disc in about 2 minutes. Any of you run into a coating that eats paper like that, and what did you switch to?
