Had the worst shift of my career last Tuesday at the brass foundry
Three molds blew out on me in a row and we lost a whole hour of production time. Turned out my sand mix was too wet because the moisture meter was busted. Anyone else ever have a whole day go sideways because of a tool you trusted?

Blamed the wrong tool for my bad coffee once, same energy.

Have you had that meter for a long time or did it just go bad on you? It's so frustrating when you've done the same thing a hundred times and then suddenly your gear lets you down. I totally get how that kind of equipment failure can just wreck your whole day.
