Had the worst freelance week ever then a single email fixed everything

Last Tuesday I had three clients ask for rewrites on stuff they already approved. I was ready to quit and go work at a coffee shop. Then Thursday morning I got an email from a random guy who found my portfolio through a forum post from 2021. He needed a contract drafted for his landscaping company. No revisions, no back and forth. Just paid my full rate and said "looks good." That one check covered the whole week. Has anyone else had a random job save a terrible stretch like that?

lol the universe really said "let me throw you a bone before you completely lose it." that's actually wild though - a landscaping company paying full rate no questions asked feels like winning the client lottery. i've had those weeks where everything's a dumpster fire and then some random niche project shows up out of nowhere like a miracle. its almost suspicious when they just say "looks good" like wait are you sure you dont want to make me cry for another 3 hours?

Wait, no questions asked? Like they just said "looks good" and sent the payment? That is some next level luck right there. I've had clients who made me rewrite the same line item fifteen times over three different billing cycles before they'd sign off. Honestly, a landscaping company being that chill makes me think they're either run by aliens or they just had a really good lunch break. Ngl, I'd be half expecting an email tomorrow saying "actually, we need to talk about the mulch color.
