Stumbled into a coworking space in Austin that had their contract terms printed on the wall
They listed their late payment penalties in bold red right next to the WiFi password, and it made me realize how much we hide our own terms from clients in fine print. Has anyone else tried putting key contract clauses front and center like that?

Oh wow, that's such a simple but powerful idea! I actually heard a story on a small business podcast about a bakery in Portland that printed their allergy disclaimer on the front of their menus instead of hiding it at the bottom. They said it built way more trust because people felt like they weren't being tricked into ordering something that might hurt them. Makes you wonder why more places don't just lead with the honest stuff instead of burying it like a secret.

Wait what, they actually printed that on the front of the menu? That's crazy because I figured most places just slap it at the bottom in tiny font to cover their legal butt. I guess that bakery figured out that people actually read the front of a menu more than the fine print. Makes you think about how much trust gets lost when you hide stuff like that. I mean, if I had a food allergy I'd probably feel way better walking into a place that's upfront about risks instead of playing hide and seek with info.

Does that bakery have a website or menu pic you can share?
