TIL that saying 'yes' to every client request cost me $600 in extra hosting fees over 6 months
After I sat down with a bookkeeper in Phoenix who showed me the receipts, I finally saw how all those free add-ons and storage upgrades I offered were quietly bleeding me dry - has anyone else run the numbers on what their 'little extras' actually cost?

Honestly, you gotta set a hard cap on freebies or just bill for every single add-on upfront.

Did you try itemizing the bill upfront to avoid any surprise charges?

Dude that reminds me of this time my buddy rented out his cabin on a lake for a weekend. He listed it as "all inclusive" but then hit the renter with a separate charge for using the canoe and another one for firewood. The guy went ballistic, left a terrible review, and now my buddy has to spell out every little thing in his listing like "toilet paper included but bring your own towels." So yeah I'm with you, just put it all on the bill upfront or people will feel like they're getting nickel and dimed to death.

Solidarity here @shanes66, that hidden fee trap always backfires hard.
