Stumbled into a co-working space in Austin that smelled like a barbecue joint
I was scoping out a new spot to work from last Tuesday, and this place called 'The Smokehouse Desk' had a smoker running right next to the front door. The owner told me they do brisket on Tuesdays for $12 a plate, so half the people there were eating lunch at 10 AM instead of working. Has anyone else run into a co-working space with a weird gimmick like that?

Man I feel for you, that sounds like a messy setup for actually getting anything done. A coworking space that doubles as a lunch spot before noon would totally throw off my whole rhythm too. Did you end up staying or did you bail to find somewhere quieter?
