Why does nobody mention how the little timer popup on Upwork always glitches out

I swear mine froze mid-bid during a $200 project deadline in Denver last Tuesday and I lost the job because it wouldn't let me submit. Has anyone else had that happen or am I just cursed with bad luck?

Yeah, that glitch is pretty common.
