Stood in line at the county clerk's office for 45 minutes just to file a simple lien release

The clerk told me their online system has been down since Tuesday, but the county website still says everything's fine. Anyone else run into government systems that are just straight up lying about their uptime?

@wadejenkins maybe but sometimes clerks are just working with junk systems too.

Isn't that just how everything works now, pretend everything is fine until you can't ignore it anymore?

If that's true then what's the point of reporting at all? Same issue with @waderamirez's point about junk systems.
