A client told me my project updates were 'too frequent and stressful' so I switched to a single weekly email.
Now I batch everything into one Friday summary and my stress levels have dropped, but I'm worried about seeming less responsive.

Totally get that worry. You fixed one issue but now feel like you created a different one. The client asked for less, so you gave them less, which is the right move. That weekly email shows you're organized and respect their time. Being responsive is about quality, not just speed. If something urgent comes up, you can still send a quick separate note.

Ever feel like you're solving a problem and creating a new one at the same time?

What's the new problem you're worried about? Is it a time management issue for you, or does the new system feel like it's creating a communication gap with the client?

Yeah, that "solving a problem and creating a new one" feeling is so real. It happens to me when I try to streamline things for a client and then worry the process got too rigid. You want to be efficient but not feel like a robot.
