Hit $10k in a single month for the first time and it broke my brain a little

I've been freelancing for about 3 years now and last month I actually pulled in $10,200 from graphic design work. I didn't even realize until I did my books on Monday and almost spit out my coffee. The weird part is I didn't take on any huge projects, just a bunch of small logo and social media gigs from local shops in Austin. Anyone else hit a surprise income milestone and just sit there staring at the numbers for a while?

Keep a running spreadsheet of every single job no matter how small. It's easy to lose track when you're just churning through invoices but seeing that total add up in real time changes how you price your work.

It's wild how the small stuff adds up without you noticing until you take a step back. Those little $200 and $300 logo jobs can sneak into a big number real fast when you're just grinding through them each week. What kind of local shops in Austin are you working with, any favorites?

Hate to be that person but honestly those tiny jobs are usually more headache than they're worth once you factor in all the back and forth emails and revisions. You'd probably make more money flipping burgers per hour than dealing with someone who thinks a logo should cost $200 and take two days.
