I finally hit 50 clients this year and it felt weird.
It's not about the money, but seeing that number made me realize how much I've shifted from chasing single gigs to building a real, repeat business. Anyone else get a milestone that snuck up on them?

Fifty clients is a huge number to just stumble upon. That shift from gig work to a real business must feel pretty wild. Congrats on the quiet win.

Was it the kind of thing where you were just doing the work day to day and then looked back and the whole picture had changed? I see that a lot, where people are so focused on the next small step they don't notice the path they've made until they stop and look. That shift from just getting by to building something that lasts is a huge deal. It's cool when the numbers finally show you what you've already built.

Totally get what you mean about not seeing the path until you stop. Reminds me of when my uncle kept fixing up this old truck in his yard, just little things here and there for years. One day he rolls it out painted and running, and we all just stood there shocked. He never said he was restoring it, just kept doing the next thing. The finished thing just showed up one afternoon.
