Switched from hourly to flat fee for web design projects

I used to bill by the hour for every freelance web project. Last year a client told me they hated feeling like the clock was running while they asked basic questions. So I tried flat fee pricing on a $2,500 site for a local bakery in Austin. It worked out way better no more arguing over revision time and the client actually felt comfortable calling me.

Same here. Charging flat fees changed everything for me too.

Yeah it's wild how much simpler things get once you stop nickel-and-diming everything. Feels like we're all trained to overcomplicate stuff when the easy fix is right there.

Yeah @val974, bundling my materials saved me tons of headache too.
